Abstract
The evaluation of university library collections must include quantitative as well as qualitative measures. This research seeks to demonstrate a relationship between quantitative and qualitative evaluation of Kenneth Dike Library collection in the sciences. It is hypothesized that, as a result of this relationship, the larger the collection, the more likely it is that it can support PhD research in the sciences.
