| dc.description.abstract | The pre-writing period was an oral era. This was accomplished through word of mouth from one generation to the next. Different pieces of information passed on were tacitly believed, and people, communities (large or small), lived, fought, loved, and died based on them. These traditions, in one way or another, highlighted the importance of oral traditions and culture, which were held dearly. | |
